I’ve returned from the writing abyss, but I brought back some cool souvenirs!
I wasn’t completely gone from the writing abyss; I was really more in a different abyss, because I was writing. It just wasn’t here. For the curious, and hungry, I have released four new books. Yes, 4. Can you guess what the topics are about? If you guessed pizza, you would be correct!
The first must-have piece of literary mastery is titled 50 Pizza Haikus. If you’re well cultured, you’ll appreciate the traditional Japanese art of Haiku, a type of classic poetry written in a 5-7-5 syllable structure, meaning the first line has five syllables, the second has seven, and the third has five. Combine that with the magic of pizza and we have art for the ages. If you appreciate classic Japanese poetry and pizza, you need this book in your home.
The follow up to that was 50 Pizza Inspired Poems. Aptly named, this book addressed the world of “regular” poetry. It was written for those who might not care for a haiku. I am an equal opportunity poet, so I give my audience what they need. As the title states, the poems are inspired by pizza. Is there anything else in life that provides such material to work with? I think not.
Next up was 101 ‘Probably’ True Pizza Facts. This book is my interpretation of how things in life, and history, actually happened. This book has tons of information you never knew you needed! It will make you rethink everything you knew about pizza and the world around us.
Finally, there is 68 Uses For An Old Pizza Box. In this book, I offer up creative ways to reuse your old pizza box rather than just throwing it in the recycle bin or the trash can. Some may be practical, some may be outlandish, but if you read my suggestions it will give you something to do in your spare time. All this time I’ve been a poet and didn’t even know it (Sorry. I had to throw that in).
