Happy Halloween!

Remember the old song lyrics, “Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat? I don’t think the song was referring to a mini size Snickers bar.

Imagine a world where Trick-or-Treaters ring a doorbell on Halloween. When the door opens, the resident is standing in the doorway with a tray of hot, delicious pizza. You then hear the words, “Please, take a slice or two!”

I believe this is what the song was about...

This is only a Halloween dream of mine, but then I said, “Wait! Does it have to only be a dream? I thought to myself, “How cool would it be if I actually did that? What if I was that awesome homeowner who gave the young citizens of Trick or Treat Town what they really wanted – Pizza! I then realized I would be giving away perfectly good pizza that I could be eating, so that idea quickly got squashed like a pumpkin.

BUT, perhaps someone out there is kind enough (or rich enough) to give away pizza in large quantities. Perhaps local pizzerias should offer up free slices for the hungry ghouls and pizza goblins like me. I think that would be a great marketing idea.

However, if anyone does decide to start giving away pizza, it better be the good pizza. No miniature pieces. I need full size slices. AND, no pumpkin pizza. I’ll stick with the cheese please. 😁
